Upload your new media file

To start with, you will need to upload the media file on your website. Click on “Media” from the WordPress admin menu.

Upload your pdf to the Media Library, by dragging the file from your folders and dropping into the library, or click on “Add New” and select and upload from your folders and files.

Click on it to view its details

Once your file is uploaded to the Media Library, click on it to view its details.

Copy the URL.

Return to your Page

Locate your “text” box and click on the gear to edit it. From there you’ll notice your editor looks slightly different. You can then highlight the text you want to link to an internal page, click on the image of the link, and then you’ll get the searchable field as shown below. That’s what enabling the classic editor did when you first went to the Divi settings.

 

Paste the URL you copied previously

NOTE:

To style the text to inherit the colour, you will need to format the text by navigating to the text format on your text module:

 

and follow this format and add the style in it:
<a href=”your-link-url” style=”text-decorations: none; color: inherit;”>

Make sure you change the “your-link-url” to your URL that you copied previously.
