Save, publish, and view your page using Divi5
Once you’ve added all your content to your Page or Post you have the option of Saving the Page as a Draft or Publishing the page.
When you’re happy with your page:
- Click the Publish button in the Divi top bar. This saves the layout to the page. You can also Save Draft if you are not ready to publish but would like to save your progess. Clicking the Save Draft link will simply save your Page/Post. This is handy if you would like to come back at a later date to add more content or if you’re simply not ready to publish yet.

- Click Exit Visual Builder (top admin bar) to view the page as a visitor.

- Back in the WordPress editor (if needed), click Publish (for a new page) or Update (for edits).
Understanding Page Status (Draft, Published & Private)
Page status is controlled by WordPress, not Divi.
Each page can be set as:
- Draft – saved but not visible to the public
- Published – live and visible
- Private – only visible to logged-in administrators
How to change page status:
- Exit the Divi builder
- In the WordPress editor, find Status & Visibility in the sidebar
- Choose the appropriate option
This is especially helpful if you want to work on pages quietly before launching.

Important Settings Only Available in WordPress
Some essential page settings are not available inside the Divi builder. You must exit Divi to access them.
[
- Page Title :The page title is different from the headings you add inside Divi. The page title is used by WordPress and search engines.
- Page URL (Permalink) ;Your page URL (also called the permalink) is managed by WordPress.
- SEO Settings: If you’re using an SEO plugin (such as Yoast or Rank Math), all SEO settings live in WordPress.
You won’t see these options inside Divi — always exit the builder to edit SEO details.
