Getting Started with Your Website Template Kit

Your website template kit has been designed to make launching your website quick and stress-free — without needing to design from scratch.

Your site will be built using:

  • WordPress – the platform that runs your website.
    These templates require self-hosted wordpress.org. Most hosting providers offer one-click install.   If you are having trouble installing WordPress, contact your hosting for help.
    Note: if you purchased our Care Plan Add on, this is all will be provided for you.
  • Divi – the drag-and-drop visual builder that lets you customise everything easily.To be able to use this template you will need to purchase Divi Theme here.
    Note: If you purchased the Theme Install Add on,  please do not purchase the theme as this will be provided for you on the template portal.

    Learn the difference between Divi4 & Divi5 so you can choose which one to use. Our newer themes will only be available in Divi5, but Divi 4 is still fully supported and safe to use. Many templates (including older ones) were originally built with Divi 4 in mind.

Before you can start installing the above, you will also need:

  • Domain name Registration
    Typically about $25/year to register your domain name. You can register your domain at ventraip.com
  • Web Hosting
    There are different types of hosting, so pick one that suits your needs and budget. Look for a reliable host with good customer support and enough space for your content.
TIPS: Opting for cheap website hosting might seem tempting, but it’s not always the best choice because it often comes with limitations in terms of server resources, customer support, and security features, potentially leading to a poor user experience and frequent website downtimes.

  • WordPress is your “house frame” — it holds all your pages, posts, and settings.
  • Divi is your “interior designer” — it helps you change how each page looks and feels.

You can update content, change layouts, swap colours, and more — all by clicking directly on the page.

Troubleshooting & Technical Issues

If you have any technical problems with these layout, please do not hesitate to submit a ticket. We are here to help you use and customise your layouts but for any issues relating to general usage of your parent theme, please contact Elegant Themes directly. If you are under our developer license (ie. you are in our careplan), please contact us and we will try to help.
If you have a general hosting or WordPress issue, then do contact your host first to see if they can resolve the problem.
